I. Event Information
On 25th August 2012, participants will be involved in a workshop as well as a team-based competition. The objective of the event is to give youths the opportunity to learn more about the intricacies of photography as well as nurture their passion for the arts and to build cohesiveness among the students from different schools.
II. Convention and Competition
Participants will be separated into groups of 4. Groupings will be revealed at the start of the event. Each participant will have 1 free A4 photo-print as well as receive a certificate of participation. Each group has to submit a portfolio of 4 photos, one from each member, based on the theme of the competition. All submissions have to reach Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) by 1.30 pm on the same day. Judging will be based on the extent of how the group has interpreted the theme through their members’ photographs, on the basis of flow, composition, arrangement, and other similar elements.There will also be an inspiring, informative and visually arresting talk by a well-known professional photographer, who will share with us his valuable experience and his technical expertise as a professional photographer.
III. Deadlines
All participants must attend the Convention on the 25th of August. Registration opens at 0730 hours and ends at 0830 hours. Registration Link
All participants must submit a hard copy of the Indemnity form, which can be downloaded at Indemnity Form Download link ( choose File/Download as) The form is required for entry into the Convention.
